Service Project and Fundraiser

Following the attack on America on September 11th, 2001, Americans expressed their unity with the strongest most powerful symbol we have, our Flag. After the initial shock they stripped the shelves of their local stores of every available U.S. Flag. Large numbers of these Flags were put into service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Unfortunately, many of these Flags were not up to the task of representing our Country long term. Seeing the worn and tattered Flags populating our businesses and neighborhoods has motivated our Boy Scout Troop to make a difference in our community.

The Scouts are now offering a service to replace the worn and tattered flags with high quality flags fit to represent our great country.  After replacing the flags, the Scouts will properly retire the old flags. Your support will both assist our fundraising efforts and be tax deductible!!!

Troop 7 will deliver the flag to your home or business.

Our scouts will retire your current flag and raise the new flag with the appropriate ceremony.

Troop 7 will only sell high quality flags. Our flags are colorfast, 100% nylon, and should last from 6-9 months. These flags are sewn, not printed. They will fly even in the lightest breeze.

The Boy Scouts of America is one of only three organizations that can properly retire and dispose of an American flag.
